Moated castle from around 1360 with beautiful park. Until 1803 summer residence of the princess abbess of Essen. In 18th century converted into present baroque appearance. Now gutted inside and used as a civic centre. Adjacent household buildings from 1842 in which a gallery is now housed. go to overview
