Situated in the middle of a residential neighborhood, in March 2016 the Galerie Cinema, also known as the tiny charming cinema, celebrated its 45th birthday. With its 45 seats it is not only the smallest but also the oldest cinema in the Ruhr area and is appreciated by its many patrons because of its cosy atmosphere. Here the cinema experience begins with the step through the front door, which leads directly into the auditorium. Tickets are sold there with a hawker’s tray.
